7. Yoga : How to do Pranayama.

Hi, please read carefully below post.

Now we are going to know how to do Pranayama in yoga.

After practicing one or two months like what I said in post 3 ‘How to start yoga’, Then we go for Pranayama.

Please sit in front of east or north direction what I asked to sit in post 3 'How to start yoga'. One thing is must your spinal card, neck and head should be vertically. Please put your right palm in your left palm.

We have two parts in nose. I am using right part of nose is right nose and left part of nose as left nose.


Take breath slowly from left part of your nose (Eeda nerve way) and fill your lungs with air. While filling air you must concentrate your mind on that nerve way.
Then you think that you are taking this air to bottom part of your body i.e. triangular shaped kundalini area.
Please keep this air for some time at bottom part of your body. Then you think that you are generating some fire in that area. Now feel that you are taking out this fire through right part of nose (Pingala nerve way).Release this air through right nose slowly.

Use your right hand thumb to close your right nose while you taking breath through left nose. Use your right hand index finger to close your left nose while releasing air.

Taking air for 4 seconds, keeping air in your body for 16 seconds, releasing air for 8 seconds is called as Pranayama.
Do this pranayma 4 times daily in the morning and in evening. If you want to increase it you may go for 6 times with carefully.

Pranayama has its ratio 4: 16: 8
That is 1: 4: 2

Taking air in to body 1 part.
Keeping air in body 4 parts.
Releasing air for 2 parts
.

Using this ratio you may increase it.
4: 16:8 is ordinary pranayama.
8: 32:16 is intermediate.
16:64:32 is the highest pranayama.

I must prefer ordinary pranayama at starting stage.

If you do it for several months you have lot of uses with it in your life. You would become very handsome and your voice will be very sweet. If you become perfect yogi, you will see entire universe with naked eye. You will get strong body and you didn’t have any disease in future. We are all know that be healthy is biggest prize in your life.

You are getting knowledge in yoga and that knowledge is helpful for doing yoga.

Warning: Don’t over do Pranayama yoga .It is very harmful when you over do it and it may causes some neck pains and body strains at starting stage.
Don’t do yoga when you are in sad mood, unhealthy, suffering from diseases.

6. Yoga : Pranayama and its introduction

Hi, those who are very new to this site please read from first post.

In the last post we discussed about the organs of yoga and know we are going to discuss about Pranayama.


Pranayama:

Prana means life and ayama means stopping business. It is an ancient Sanskrit word.
Pranayama means stopping life in body. You control your breath that is pranayama. If somebody thinks that life means breath it is wrong.

So we go for some brief discussion about what is life.

God first created sky. All the things, materials came from sky. Sky contains stars, planets, comets; etc. Sky has the gases, solids and liquids. Sky is human body, animal body and the trees. What ever you are seeing in his universe made from the sky.

So from what energy this sky converting as a universe that is life energy. This universe belongs to life. And this universe runs by life. So if you control life you will control this universe and the sky.

Now I am back to my main subject.

If you angry or excited you will take fast breath. If you are sleeping you will take slow breath. Here you observe that in rest your breath is slow and gap between one breath and the other breath is wide.
What you must observe here if you increase the gap between breaths you will feel more relief and rest.
If gap between the breaths at a perfect way that is called pranayama.

You rub one steel rod with a magnate from one end to another end. All the atoms in that steel rod forms in a way then that steel rod acts like magnate. In the same way if you form atoms of your body in a perfect way you will become a real magnate .i.e.; attractive and intelligent. In your case magnate is air and steel rod is your body. If you form your body atoms in a way by using air that is pranayama stopping life in body.
If you are become intelligent money automatically follows you.

In yogic language spinal card has two nerves.
Left part of the spinal card is called as Eeda nerve.
Right part of the spinal card is called as Pingala nerve.
Stream between these two nerves is called as Sushumana.
Upper part of this sushumana closes at head called as Sahasra.

Bottom part of this sushumana closes at a triangular shaped sensitive nerves area. This Triangular shaped part is called as Kundalini.

Please learn carefully all the above terms it is very impartment in yoga.

At which stage a person knows that he is also one of the nature, that person is sitting very near to God.

5. Yoga and its organs - (ii)

Hi, those who are very new to this site please read from first post.

Last time we had discussed about some organs of yoga and now we will see the remaining organs.

Brhamcharya (Bachelor ism):

Be holy always in any condition. While performing for yoga your mind, your word and your work should be holy.
In student life people should away from sex and sexual thoughts.
Be holy is the Bachelor ism.


Astaya:

Astaya means don’t theft anything from any body. If you theft some thing, your heart fells sorry about you. You feel shy to talk with other people. Then your heart lose freedom and you disqualify for yoga.


Happy:

Be happy always. Feel happy to help other people.
Satisfy with what you had, that will keeps you very happy.


Saucha (Cleaning):

There are two types of cleaning. One is internal cleaning and other one is external cleaning.
Taking bath with water, sand etc. is called as external cleaning.
Holiness in your mind and thinking for good works are called as internal cleaning.
Internal cleaning is better one than the external cleaning.
In yoga you should have both internal and external cleaning.They are interlinked.



Tapah (Prayer):

Reading holy books and praying takes your heart and body near to God.
There are three kinds of prayers.
Prayer listen by the others is ordinary prayer.
Thinking meaning of the words of prayer is intermediate.
Prayer in your mind and concentration on God is the best prayer.

Always pray for other people and pray for world peace keeps you very near to God.



Don’t think that all the organs of yoga are separated. They are interlinked with each other. If you don’t follow the organs you ever qualify for yoga. They are heart of yoga.


Before starting yoga please say wishes to your teacher (Guru), say wishes to this universe and say wishes to all the four directions. i.e.; East, West, North, South.
